Film Story : Jesse is puzzled why his friend, state police murder supervisor Captain Healy, asked him along on a ‘non-stakeout’ outside Sir’s nephews’s teen sax teacher and lover’s home in Boston. Suddenly a man shoots at them, wounding Jesse only in the arm, Healy in serious surgery, but both pull through. The municipal council, already displeased Stone isn’t full-time available and refuses to hire the mayor’s in-law as IT consultant or man an unfair speed limit trap, suspends him pending further investigation, leaving Luther in charge ad interim. Against Healy’s orders, he ‘privately’ looks into the case, suspecting it ties in with mob-organized prostitution, seeking help from ‘moralistic’ crime baron Gino Fish.
